About me

Assistant Technical Theater Manager,

Taipei American School, Taiwan.

Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Joe has built a diverse career spanning theater production, technical management, and corporate project leadership. With a foundation in dance and music from his early education, he developed a deep appreciation for the performing arts, which later led him to pursue a career in technical theater. After earning his BFA in Technical Design from Taipei National University of the Arts, he pursued an MFA in Technical Design and Production at the Yale School of Drama (now the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale), specializing in production management. His passion for bridging artistic vision with technical expertise led him to oversee productions at Yale Cabaret and contribute to technical theater education.

In the corporate world, Joe served as an International Project Manager for a global sportswear manufacturer with operations in the USA, Taiwan, China, and Vietnam. In this role, he led corporate events and ESG initiatives, integrated sustainability into business operations, and fostered meaningful engagement among employees and clients.

Outside of work, Joe enjoys exploring creative projects, traveling, and experiencing the intersection of art, culture, and technology.
